Swimming Pool Zoning Laws and Fencing Requirements Township of Princeton, Mercer County

Article I. In General. 

Sec. 5-1         Reserved. 

Sec. 5-2.        Swimming pool2 – Defined.

   As used in sections 5-3 and 54, “swimming pool” means any outdoor pool, tank or plunge which is designed, used or maintained primarily for swimming purposes. (Ord. No. 386, § .)

Sec. 5-3.        Same – Permit required for construction.

   No swimming pool shall be constructed in the township except in accordance with a permit for such construction previously secured from the township building official upon written application. The application shall be accompanied by a plan showing the size, shape and location of the swimming pool and its enclosure, if any, and such other information as may be necessary to enable the building official to determine whether enclosure of the pool is required by and complies with section 54. (Ord. No. 386, § 2.)
