In the garage on Pleasant Hill Road, in 1965, the McLaughlin’s started Pleasant Pools. Just a wild dream for two; has become a bustling business today. With a rented U-haul and four kids in tow, pick up and deliveries’ were made. In November of 1968 Pleasant Pools opened its doors on Main St. in Chester, New Jersey. Back then most of Main Street was a ghost town.
Ever since their humble beginnings, Ray and Catherine’s dreams have been surpassed. Working together they are three generations strong and counting. Pleasant Pools & Patio’s customers include three generations of parents, children, grand-children, all of whom have built their back yard paradise with the help of our dedicated staff.
