SWIMMING CLUB

A club, maintaining and operating a swimming pool and apparatus and equipment pertaining to the swimming pool, with or without specified limitations upon the number of members, for the exclusive use of members and their guests.

SWIMMING POOL, PRIVATE

A swimming pool and the apparatus and equipment pertaining to the swimming pool maintained by an individual for the sole use of his/her household and guests without charge for admission and not for the purpose of profit or in connection with any business operated for profit, located on a lot as an accessory use to a residence.

 

Swimming pools. No private residential outdoor swimming pool shall be constructed or installed on any lot unless the lot contains a principal residential building. A pool shall be located in rear yard areas only and shall occupy no more than 75% of the yard area in which it is located and shall be located no closer than 20 feet to any lot line. There shall be no minimum distance requirement between the pool and principal structure.
